Established in 1972, DreadnoughtRock in Bathgate is Scotland’s longest running rock club. We are still going strong and now heading towards 55 years of adventures.

We've weathered plenty of major hurdles over the decades, including the pandemic, ongoing cost of living challenges, and we honestly couldn't have done it without our incredible rock crew and everyone who has supported us through the years.

Every Friday and Saturday night, we keep the music going across two levels.

Downstairs, live events kick the night off, and the best part is that your live ticket also includes entry to the nightclub afterwards. Once the live music wraps up around 11pm, things really get rocking upstairs until 3am. If you prefer a more relaxed vibe, the lower level doubles as a quieter lounge bar with lower music volume.

You can expect an unbeatable mix of tunes from the 70s right through to the 00s, featuring classic rock, metal, hard rock, pop rock, a bit of punk, and even some pop tracks thrown in these days to suit the ever changing audiences. Because the playlist is entirely driven by who comes in and what gets requested, no two nights are ever quite the same, even with the same rock jock spinning the tracks.

A lot of folks assume a rock nightclub won't have a decent pint, but our well stocked bars feature all the major brands of cold beer and stouts on tap, plus a great selection of wines, spirits, and alcohol free options at the best prices we can possibly manage.

Cover charges start from £5 at either the main or side entrance depending on the night's live event, and our doorstaff are on hand from 7pm to keep you right.

Final entry is at 1.30am, but please try to get in by 1am or earlier if you can. Coming in early really helps us build the atmosphere, gets your requests played sooner, and supports the club more than you might think. So grab a drink, bring your mates, and come back to rock with us early doors this weekend.
