The Dreadnought is a LIVE MUSIC VENUE and NIGHTCLUB located in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland. Established in 1972, so in 2027 it will have served the people of Scotland for FIFTY-FIVE years. A massive landmark for any business but rather special for a venue outwith a major city.

It's known for hosting a wide variety of live events and club nights EVERY weekend, and other music-related activities too.

Although, it's always been known for playing predominately Rock oriented music in the Nightclub, it's variety playing mainly the popular rock tunes you all know from the 70's - 00's mixed in with a widening variety of requests is what keeps people coming back.

The venue has built a reputation as a significant part of the local music scene too, attracting both local and touring bands, as well as music lovers of different genres. We're lucky to have had many famous bands that have preformed on oor special wee stage, that nobody would've dreamt of seeing beyond the larger venues.

If you're planning to visit, you can expect: a vibrant, welcoming, safe atmosphere with regular events, and catering to different tastes in music. It has been and still is an iconic part of Bathgate's nightlife and culture for FIVE and a HALF DECADES.
