Established in the Early 70’s the Rock Disco has evolved through the decades
from the old Dreadnought Hotel to what we now have as the Dreadnought Rock
Night club on King Street still in Bathgate.
Through all those years and despite a change of venue one thing still stands as
true now as it always has - a wide variety of Rock Music to suit your taste and
a great variety of people who love their rock music in a safe and relaxed
atmosphere.

Renowned all over Scotland as a great Rock venue you will always want to come
back weekly or from time to time and listen to your favourite rock tracks played
loud and proud and join that group that is the Dreadnought faithful.

Today's Rock Night Club opens at 10pm every Friday & Saturday and runs through
till 3am playing everything rock. Free entry upto 11pm allows you to come in
and see what the rock club has to offer and tempt you to rock til you Drop
till the wee hours.
Classic Rock, Soft Rock, Hard Rock right through to new and even more varied
tracks still makes for an entertaining night out no matter your taste.

The variety of Rock Music now available to our experienced Rock Jocks is vast,
but the philosophy of playing a little of each era and genre as the night unfolds
to an ever growing age group of rockers is what has and continues to make the
Dreadnought Rock disco what it is and where the people like to meet and Rock out.


Our dress code is optional in the Night Club - simply meaning comes as you please.
Jeans, t-shirts and trainers or dressed to the nines - it’s up to you as long as you
love your Rock Music. Please note NO colours - football or bike club etc allowed.

So rockers old and new there is only one true rock only night club in the Lothian’s
to visit and make your regular port of call every weekend and we hope to see you
there for your first or thousandth time.
