Over the last couple of years since launching Dreadnought Rock LIVE featuring a mixture of Rock covers, Tribute & original material bands the New Dreadnought has become a must visit venue for artists and fans. From local up and coming bands to artists that have hit international Status, we have had the pleasure of having them play on the Dread stage. Both Friday & Saturday nights Feature the LIVE music events from around 8pm onwards with a growing list of bands wanting to play for the first time or have a return gig. No matter your taste in music the ever expanding range on what’s on offer at DreadnoughtRock every weekend is well worth checking out. Having supported the Bathgate Music Festival over the years to bring new and established bands FREE of charge to Rock fans during the week long event at the Dreadnought we hope to continue this involvement in the years ahead and ask you to keep your eyes on our gig guide leading upto the annual event in September. As West Lothian’s premier Rock only venue we would welcome you to sample some of the extraordinary artists and talent in our FREE to SEE gigs, oh and don’t be put off or have in your mind that just because its free it can’t be upto much. In fact its quite the opposite ! Many of the ever growing LIVE Rock regulars can’t believe what they hear and see for Free and tell us that alternative venues in the likes of Glasgow or Edinburgh all charge to see bands. More and more we have Special events such as having Sham 69, The Rezillos, Blaze Bailey, Paul Rose, Ted McKenna, The UK Subs or higher profile tribute bands such as Led Astray,U2-2, Metalleeka,Non Jovi, Straighten Out or Maiden Scotland to name just a few that have played or coming soon. For any ticket pricing or what’s a FREE Gig please refer to our gig guide or relevant ticket sales webpage. If you like live music and love rock there is only one place in the central belt of Scotland to come and catch the action. Check out our gig guide on Reverbnation, Facebook and ents24 or simply just get yourself down to the Dread and see what’s on.
